Hello, I am Amy Capsey, a qualified Maths teacher offering tutoring and home tuition for students studying KS3 or GCSE Mathematics as well as Functional Skills.
I tutor online using Zoom but also face-to-face in my home office in Horsham.

I have worked in secondary schools in London, Surrey and Sussex across the state and independent sectors and currently teach Maths at Oakwood School in Horley.
I have a PGCE from UCL and a first class batchelors degree from the University of Portsmouth. I am DBS checked. I also regularly complete Safeguarding training.
Pricing
My prices are below and I invoice at the end of each month.

£40 per hour slot
(50 minutes teaching time if choosing face to face)
£32.50 for 45 minutes
(Online only)

I also offer group bookings at £30 per student in groups up to four.
Large group bookings or school bookings are priced on request.

Homework/practice paper marking as well as submission of evidence for home education is charged at £20 an hour.
​
Payment is via bank transfer upon receipt of the invoice.
​
These prices are subject to change at the end of each academic year.

Angles with Amy Privacy Policy
Personal information will be collected about both the parent/guardian and student in order to plan sessions and record student progress. This information will be held in one online file, and one printed file. The data subject (parent/guardian or student if over 13 years) can request to view this information at any time. This personal information will be held for up to two years following the final invoice. After that time the information will be anonymised or deleted. The paper file will be shredded or provided to the data subject at their request.
Information held on invoices will be kept for up to seven years. After this time the information will be anonymised or deleted. Any paper files will be shredded after this time.
